Katrina Gupalo is internationally recognized as one of Latvia’s most extraordinary musicians. Katrina is noted for her versatility as an artist – her repertoire ranges from Classicism to premieres of works by contemporary composers and forays into popular genres, and she performs both as a pianist and a singer. She is famed for a poignant stage presence and vivid interpretations, which are partially due to her additional education in theatre. 

Katrina Gupalo’s programmes “100 YEARS WITH PIAF”, which was prepared in collaboration with French Institute in Latvia, and “AFTER MIDNIGHT” in collaboration with U.S. Embassy in Latvia, has been performed with a great success and interest of audience in the main Latvian concert halls . 

Katrina Gupalo has won major prizes at numerous international competitions in Paris, Moscow and London. She has collaborated with many distinguished pianists and musicians, including Alan Gilbert, Leon Fleisher, Robert McDonald, Dmitri Bashkirov, Thomas Ades, Sergejs Osokins, Christopher Elton, Jerome Lowenthal and Mikhail Voskresensky.
